The Pentium Processor -

First of all, before talking about another great discovery in the field on Technology of Computers first let me explain to you that what is the Processor?

The Pentium Processor

A processor, or "microprocessor," is a small chip that resides in computers and other electronic devices.

Its basic job is to receive input and provide the appropriate output. While this may seem like a simple task, but modern processors can handle trillions of calculations per second.

The Pentium is a widely-used personal computer microprocessor from the Intel Corporation. First offered in 1993, the Pentium quickly replaced Intel's 486 microprocessor as the microchip-of-choice in manufacturing a personal computer.

Vinod Dham is an engineer, entrepreneur, and venture capitalist. He is known as 'Father of the Pentium Chip' for his contribution to the development of Intel's Pentium microprocessor

He is a mentor, advisor and sits on the boards of companies, including startups funded through his India-based fund Indo-US Venture Partners, where he is the founding managing director.

Vinod Dham's accomplishment as 'Pentium Engineer' and as an Indian-American technology pioneer from Silicon Valley was observed at an exhibition on South Asians in the National Museum of Natural History at Washington, D.C., highlighting Indian-Americans who have helped shape America.
The Pentium series was best in power consumption and speed that rapidly changed the world of microprocessors

So this was a small brief on Pentium processor
